Play BBC Sport's new World Cup predictor game

Forty-eight teams, 104 matches – and you can predict every single one of them on the BBC Sport website and app.

A new prediction game is being launched for this year’s World Cup, enabling users to select what they believe the outcome of each match will be.

The fresh game also includes streaks, so remember to log in daily and submit your predictions.

Participants will also get the opportunity to enter a prize draw for a chance to win an official World Cup football signed by members of the BBC World Cup team.

How to play

Make your picks, or tap ‘How to Play’ for a guided walkthrough of the process.

For every match, you either select a winner or a draw.

Once your prediction is submitted, it cannot be changed, so choose wisely.

After that, wait for the results to come in and see how you performed.

Each consecutive round you play adds one to your streak, but if you skip a round, your streak resets to zero.

How you can win a signed ball

Three official World Cup footballs are up for grabs in our prize draws, signed by former France defender Gael Clichy, presenter Kelly Cates, and ex-England internationals Alan Shearer, Micah Richards, Joe Hart, Wayne Rooney, Ellen White, and Steph Houghton.

Once you play the predictor, you’ll have the chance to enter the draw by completing a form.

The first draw will take place during the group stage, the second covers the last 32 and last 16, and the third is for predicting the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final.
