Liverpool's Summer Transfer Activity Intensifies Under Andoni Iraola
Liverpool are ramping up their summer transfer business as Andoni Iraola prepares to construct his squad following the significant departures of Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, and Ibrahima Konate.
Andoni Iraola is poised for a hectic transfer window
With Andoni Iraola now at the helm, Liverpool are showing no signs of slowing down their transfer operations.
Iraola is set to welcome Jeremy Jacquet this summer, but he will surely want more new faces to join him after succeeding Arne Slot in the managerial role. Mohamed Salah, Andy Robertson, Ibrahima Konate, and Rhys Williams are all leaving Anfield this summer, creating several gaps in the team. Robertson will remain in the Premier League next season following confirmation of his move to Tottenham in early June.
With Salah saying goodbye to Merseyside after nine years, the wide attacking positions are likely to become a top priority. Federico Chiesa could also leave this summer, potentially making room for at least two or more new attacking recruits in an area where the Reds were already short last season. Here, the Daily Star Sport examines the latest updates from Anfield.

Barcola 'seeking exit'
Paris Saint-Germain star Bradley Barcola is ready to leave the Parc des Princes this summer, as reported by talkSPORT.
This is positive news for Liverpool and Arsenal, both of whom have been linked with the French international.
Barcola has seen his opportunities in big matches limited since Khvicha Kvaratskhelia arrived in Paris in January 2025.

He scored 13 goals across all competitions last season but started from the bench in PSG's Champions League quarter-final, semi-final, and final victories.
The 23-year-old will not be allowed to leave cheaply, and interested clubs could still face resistance from Luis Enrique's side.
A transfer fee of around £60m has been suggested for a player who is part of France's World Cup squad.
Rayan on Reds' radar

Brazil international Rayan is the latest name linked with a summer move to Anfield.
The winger is already known to Iraola, having played under the manager at Bournemouth during the second half of last season.
According to RTI Esporte, the winger has a £130m release clause at Bournemouth. Whether the Cherries would demand that full amount remains unclear.
Rayan, 19, recorded five goals and two assists in his first 15 Premier League appearances. That was enough to earn him a place in Carlo Ancelotti's World Cup squad.
He also scored his first senior international goal when Brazil beat Panama in a warm-up friendly.
