Uruguay and Saudi Arabia kick off their Group H campaigns in a match broadcast by ITV

Saudi Arabia and Uruguay will commence their World Cup campaigns on Monday evening when they face off in Miami.
The two teams meet after Spain and Cape Verde kick off Group H earlier in the day in what looks set to be an intriguing group.
Led by former Leeds United manager Marcelo Bielsa, two-time champions Uruguay will aim for a strong start against a Saudi side whose sole appearance in the World Cup knockout rounds occurred when the tournament was last hosted in the USA, back in 1994.

Former Everton striker Ferguson earned seven caps for Scotland during an international career hampered by injuries and disputes with the SFA, meaning he featured in only one major tournament—Euro 1992—and has since moved into punditry following his last managerial role at Inverness Caledonian Thistle.

Joining Ferguson and Carney in the studio is former Crystal Palace, Watford and Reading midfielder Jobi McAnuff.
The 44-year-old’s international career saw him earn 32 caps for Jamaica, and he rounds out the panel analysing this Group H encounter.
The match kicks off at 11pm UK time, in that slot seemingly designed to present viewers on this side of the Atlantic with a nightly dilemma about how much sleep they need to function.
Joe Speight will handle commentary duties at Miami Stadium, the home of the Miami Dolphins and known as Hard Rock Stadium outside this World Cup.

Following this clash, Uruguay’s next match sees them face Cape Verde in Miami on Sunday, shortly after Saudi Arabia take on Spain in Atlanta.
