England fans were left fuming over issues with BBC iPlayer during the World Cup match against Mexico.
The Three Lions would secure a spot in the quarter-finals with an epic 3-2 victory , but the game was delayed by an hour from its original kick-off time due to weather conditions. And once the match got underway at the Estadio Azteca in Mexico City, supporters seemed to experience problems with delays, sporadic coverage interruptions, and connectivity issues.
They didn't hesitate to express their frustration on social media, raging at the BBC over the annoying issues in the early hours of Monday morning, reports the Express .

One fan posted on X: "Pubs r open n England scored im guessing? (iPlayer slow) cos the pub lot from down the road r screamingggggggggg."
While another commented: "Iplayer 30 seconds behind everyone else." A third queried: "iPlayer keeps dropping out for anyone else?"
And a fourth stated: "iPlayer keeps dropping out so I'm about 15 seconds behind." And a fifth asked: "Why is the iplayer app so far behind normal tv." While another remarked: "My iPlayer is behind some neighbours/pub so getting it all ruined anyway."

Kane then committed a foul that made him the first player since at least 1966 to score and concede a penalty in a World Cup game. Raúl Jiménez converted the kick with a stutter-step approach to move El Tri within 3-2.
Mexico attacked relentlessly over the final 21 minutes, plus 11 minutes of stoppage time, but goalkeeper Jordan Pickford and England's defenders held steady.
England move on to face Norway on Saturday in Miami Gardens, Florida, for a spot in the semi-finals.
