It's the battle of Harry Kane and Erling Haaland , seen last in the 2022/23 Premier League season.

While Kane and Haaland are seizing headlines for their nation's results, their supporting casts belong at this level.
The difference will be simple: can Norway get the ball to Haaland more often in threatening situations than the Three Lions do Kane?

For Kane, he thrives without chance quality or quantity, but through the magic of his own boot.
Haaland is a predator in waiting: not the most clinical finisher, but a far more dangerous, and committed, threat inside the box.
This battle will be key, and Kane needs to produce the same sort of awe-inspiring wonder as he did to return England from the dead against DR Congo .
The Haaland problem is ludicrously complex to solve for Thomas Tuchel 's men, because marking him intensely won't be a solution.
His height, his speed, his power, will all make him a threat too strong to contain, even if the Three Lions boss pulls out Dan Burn and his magnificent skull to try and counter the problem.
That battle will be won in the middle of the pitch, by stopping Norway from having regular opportunities to spray balls into the England box.
Or, it will be won by Haaland having a bad day at the office, and Kane having a career-best one, with the Three Lions incredibly reliant on their star striker, and the space he creates for Jude Bellingham .
Both men will be impossible to contain, but a mostly even game will be decided by the England striker, whose supporting cast will stop Norway's bagsman from getting the quantity of chances he needs.
